Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies.
MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military’s green power initiatives. MFC has five principal product categories that correspond to the vital capabilities it provides our warfighters and civilian customers in their defining moments. MFC pursues business in more than 50 countries with more than 50 product and service lines.

Failure Analysis
The purpose of the Failure Analysis category is to provide the Lockheed Martin Supply Base with resources to help work through failure investigations as well as prevent failures with tools such as Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).

Risk Management
Risk is the effect of uncertainty on objectives or a chance of something happening that will have an impact on objectives. The Risk and Opportunity Management category will provide resources that will help illustrate what a risk and opportunity management process looks like. The purpose of this category is to help the Lockheed Martin Supply Base Identify risk and opportunities and create plans to mitigate said risks or exploit potential opportunities.
Energy - Engineering, Procurement & Construction
General Information
The Engineering, Procurement & Construction division of Lockheed Martin Energy is based in Rockville, Maryland and is responsible for all engineering, procurement, and construction activities related to Lockheed Martin Energy.
Suppliers and vendors interested in conducting business specifically with the Engineering, Procurement & Construction Group of Lockheed Martin are encouraged to complete the online Subcontractor Prequalification form for consideration of inclusion into our bid opportunities. (Note: Other specialty areas of Lockheed Martin have alternative means for qualification and are not intended for this process.)
Our energy projects are completed in domestic and international locations and we are particularly interested in fully licensed and bondable suppliers and vendors that self-perform their own work in the following categories:
Engineering & Design
Engineering firms with full Engineer of Record capabilities are required. Firms with specialties related to energy engineering, including retro-commissioning, measurement and verification, and/or renewable design. Expertise in the primary scope of the project will be rated the highest. Selected firms will be expected to perform all engineering and design functions from design development and construction administration. All firms must be licensed to perform work in the region of work and be fully bondable.
Electrical
Electrical firms which specialize in and self-perform the turnkey delivery of Generators, Transformers, Switchgear, Lighting & Controls, and VFD’s installation projects. Expertise and favorable past projects in the primary scope of the project will be rated the highest. All firms must be licensed to perform work in the region of work and be fully bondable.
Mechanical
Mechanical firms which specialize in and self-perform the turnkey delivery HVAC, Boilers, Combined Heat & Power (CHP), and Plumbing installation projects. Expertise and favorable past projects in the primary scope of the project will be rated the highest. All firms must be licensed to perform work in the region of work and be fully bondable.
Renewables
Firms which specialize in and self-perform the turnkey delivery Solar, Wind, Bio-Energy, Energy Storage, and Micro Grid installation projects. Expertise and favorable past projects in the primary scope of the project will be rated the highest. All firms must be licensed to perform work in the region of work and be fully bondable.
Building Envelope
Firms which specialize in and self-perform the turnkey delivery Roofing, Glass & Glazing, Doors, and Metal Panels installation projects. Expertise and favorable past projects in the primary scope of the project will be rated the highest. All firms must be licensed to perform work in the region of work and be fully bondable.
General Construction
General Construction firms which specialize in and self-perform the turnkey delivery Civil & Sitework, Steel Erection, and Doors, Frames & Hardware installation projects. Expertise and favorable past projects in the primary scope of the project will be rated the highest. All firms must be licensed to perform work in the region of work and be fully bondable.
Requirements
- All companies must complete the online subcontractor pre-qualification form and submit for approval.
- All companies must review and accept the Lockheed Martin standard subcontract documents prior to further consideration for acceptance.
- Upon award of a subcontract, your company will receive an email notification to register with Exostar. Click here for subcontractor and contractor instructions to login and access LM Fieldglass. Exostar is the corporate subcontracting portal for Lockheed Martin.
