2012 Sustainability Report

A phytoplankton swirl around Sweden's Gotland island in the Baltic Sea, as seen by the Landsat 7 spacecraft built by Lockheed Martin for NASA. The image was a winner in the 2012 NASA “Earth as Art” campaign that celebrated the Landsat program's 40th anniversary. Lockheed Martin built the first seven Landsat spacecraft. Landsat's collection of land images serves those who study the Earth's resources and the changes brought on by natural processes and human activities.
