Lockheed Martin Awarded $22 Million China Lake Contract
SEABROOK, MD, February 3rd, 1999 -- The United States Navy has awarded Lockheed Martin the China Lake Combat Environment Simulation contract valued at $22 million over three years. Lockheed Martin is one of three contractors to win the opportunity to compete for individual orders under this indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract designed to provide combat environment simulation engineering services to support DoD test and training ranges. Lockheed Martin's Systems Support & Training Services will be responsible for range instrumentation development including system engineering, software development, engineering analysis/design, development, acquisition, fabrication and integration. Work will be performed in Nevada, California and at government installations around the world.
