Lockheed Martin Unit Initiates FirstSERVE(tm) Customer Satisfaction
OWEGO, NY, 18-JAN-01 -- A new field support program, which elevates the customer to an even higher level of importance, has been initiated by a business of Lockheed Martin Systems Integration - Owego. Launched by the Lockheed Martin Distribution Technologies business in Tulsa, the program is branded FirstSERVE(tm) - Serving Our Customers First. Designed to provide more efficient and timely service for Distribution Technologies' customers, FirstSERVE components include advanced technical training courses to complement standard courses; more product and technical information accessible on the Web; a special quarterly newsletter and customer-focused bulletins; fast-response service teams; and a toll-free customer advocate hotline for customers to voice concerns or provide feedback about the service they have received.
Our dedication to customer satisfaction has always separated us from our competition, said Ron Yuricek, general manager of the Tulsa operations. With FirstSERVE we aim to improve on that reputation to ensure that we're offering our customers the highest caliber of service in our industry.
FirstSERVE components - each with a specific customer focus - strengthen our field service portfolio. We're enabling our FirstSERVE staff so they can offer enhanced training and effectively listen to our customers, and react in real time. By using the Web, the program also puts information our customers need to make decisions at their fingertips, said Mike Rooney, senior manager for the FirstSERVE program.
FirstSERVE service and support staff will be easily identified, Rooney added, because of the program's branding. For example, team members will be wearing distinguishable FirstSERVE service shirts.
