C-130J Takes off for the Lone Star State

Marietta, Ga., December 1, 2011 -- The twelfth Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules departs for Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, on Nov. 30, 2011. Dyess is slated receive 28 J-models to become the largest operator of C-130Js in the world. Col. Todd McCready, 7th Bomb Wing Logistics Group Commander at Dyess, accepted delivery of aircraft tail number 85679.
