Community & Volunteer Engagement

Lockheed Martin's tradition of volunteerism and community engagement has long been a cornerstone of the Corporation and its values. Our dedicated employees donate countless volunteer hours in support of numerous organizations and community projects.

Our employees are involved in a wide variety of activities including clothing and toy drives, serving food at homeless shelters, walking to raise funds for medical research, mentoring students, building playgrounds, and baking cookies for community festivals. Lockheed Martin executives also serve in leadership capacities for a wide variety of initiatives — from national organizations such as Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Junior Achievement to local science museums and performing arts centers.

For the past eight years, Lockheed Martin employees have logged more than one million hours of volunteer service annually to advance the causes that are important to them, their communities, the nation, and the Corporation.

Our employees volunteer at every level of the Corporation because at Lockheed Martin, we know that if you want to accelerate a better tomorrow, we all need to give back today. Their genuine concern for others is what helps make Lockheed Martin an exceptional contributor to the public good.
