Lockheed Martin offers Leadership Forums, Employee Resources Groups and Employee Networks to support employees and promote a diverse and inclusive environment.
Leadership Forums by diversity dimension related to the organization’s Employee Resources Groups are established by executive management to address enterprise-wide matters affecting the Lockheed Martin Workforce. Forum members are made up of senior leaders in the corporation. These Leadership Forums exist for the following diversity dimensions:
- African American
- Asian American
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT)
- People with Disabilities
Employee Resource Groups are formed on the dimensions of diversity, including, but not limited to, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran’s status, gender and age. They provide forums to support professional development, increase awareness and education, and help advance the company’s mission and business objectives.
Employee Networks are formed by employees with a common interest, who voluntarily join together to create a support system and outlet for that interest. Employee Networks are aligned with existing business initiatives and functions. Members share ideas and best practices, provide research and peer education, address strategic business challenges, and participate in activities that promote the initiative.
