Black Hawk

Lockheed Martin partners with the Polish Ministry of Defence to provide a number of national defense capabilities which support the modernization of Poland’s armed forces. Today, the company directly employs 1,600 people at its PZL Mielec manufacturing facility in South East Poland and sustains employment for many thousands more in the Polish engineering sector.

PZL Mielec offers a combination of high production quality with affordable prices and is the largest Lockheed Martin production site outside the U.S. Underlining Lockheed Martin’s long-term commitment to the plant, the company is investigating how to bring new work to the facility as part of its strategy to grow its international footprint.

As a trusted partner for Poland, Lockheed Martin is committed to building mutually beneficial relationships with Polish companies operating in the aerospace and defense sector, and partners with universities and colleges across Poland to help strengthen the talent pipeline.
