Dale P. Bennett
Executive Vice President, Mission Systems and Training
Dale P. Bennett is executive vice president of Lockheed Martin’s Mission Systems and Training (MST) business area.
In this role, Mr. Bennett oversees the execution of programs for the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy. MST employs 19,000 people across the globe and includes programs such as the Aegis Combat System, Littoral Combat Ship and MH-60 helicopter avionics, as well as military and commercial training systems including F-35 Lightning II.
Previously, he served as the president of Lockheed Martin’s Mission Systems and Sensors (MS2) business unit, and the Global Training and Logistics (GTL) business unit before that.
Mr. Bennett's career spans more than 30 years of service to industry and the military. He joined Lockheed Martin in 1981 as a systems engineer and worked assignments of increasing responsibility within the corporation. Mr. Bennett’s diverse background includes experience in Engineering, Business Development, Strategic Planning, independent research and development, program management and general management.
Other positions Mr. Bennett has held within Lockheed Martin include president of Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training & Support as well as a dual role as president of the Integrated Coast Guard Systems joint venture and vice president of Lockheed Martin MS2’s Coast Guard Systems.
Mr. Bennett served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, a master’s degree in engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Sloan Fellows Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He is a member of the Air Force Association, American Society of Naval Engineers, Association of the United States Army, Navy League of the United States and the U.S. Naval Institute.
