Dr. Michael Kendall

Dr. Michael Kendall joined Lockheed Martin Ventures in 2022 from DAG Ventures, where he was a Principal covering a variety of sectors including Artificial Intelligence and Data, and across several different investment strategies. At Lockheed Martin Ventures, Michael invests in rotary and mission systems technologies, artificial intelligence and data analytics, high performance computing, autonomous systems, precision navigation and timing, and biotechnologies.
Prior to venture capital, Michael worked at Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan, where he had roles in Sales and Trading and Tech Investment Banking divisions. Before finance, Michael worked at Rolls-Royce and Surfx Technologies during his engineering graduate and undergraduate coursework. Michael attempted to commercialize his research with his supervisor during his doctorate.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Oxford, where he received his doctorate in Engineering Science, and of the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
