Lockheed Martin’s Civil Space Opportunities Highlighted on UK Visit
Rick Ambrose, Executive Vice President, Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, highlighted the potential for the Corporation to work with the UK and Europe to utilise Lockheed Martin’s expertise in space programmes when he visited the UK. Rick’s itinerary included meetings with David Willetts, Minister of State for Universities and Science, and representatives of the UK Space Agency to discuss opportunities for future civil space collaboration.
His programme also included a tour of Lockheed Martin – UK Ampthill, where he saw the expanding work in special projects programmes, and a visit to the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston, where Lockheed Martin is a shareholder in AWE Management Limited.
