High School Engagement and Internship Lead to STEM Career for Texas Student
Since 2007, Lockheed Martin has partnered with Project Lead the Way (PLTW) to address the nation’s critical need for future engineers through hands-on STEM activities in the classroom. F-35 Design Intern Abdallah Shishani participated in PLTW classes in middle school and high school inspiring him to pursue a mechanical engineering degree and a career at Lockheed Martin. Now on the F-35 production floor, Abdallah is making hands-on design and production decisions while collaborating with senior engineers.
