Managing Director, Lockheed Martin UK - Ampthill

Tim Hadfield was appointed Interim Managing Director of the LMUK Ampthill business in June 2024.

Tim joined Lockheed Martin in 2023 and has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience. In his role, he leads the Ampthill business, which employs over 500 people, being responsible for the through life delivery of advanced aerospace and defence systems, products and capabilities of national importance to the UK and beyond.

Tim previously held the position of Vice President for Ultra and covered all aspects of program management, engineering, and operations. He has diverse experience through program execution to business strategy and capture, as well as working in classified environments. Tim earned a First-Class Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Management, from the University of Birmingham, and is a Chartered Project Professional and Member of the Association for Project Management.
