Name: Jason
Years at Lockheed Martin: 5 years
What is your current position? Program Director
What are your day-to-day responsibilities? I am responsible for the development of Lockheed Martin Air Dominance capabilities in support of the US Air Force, US Navy, and US Marine Corps.
Can you tell us why you wanted to work at Lockheed Martin?
I come from a long line of warriors on my father and mother’s side. It is no surprise when I talk to my team, employees, customers or anyone outside of Lockheed Martin I am typically talking about the current warfighters and veterans. As a veteran, I understand the sacrifice the men and women in uniform and their families make every single day, so I take it upon myself to help employees understand why we do what we do.
I continuously remind my team of the Lockheed Martin mission. I think it is a worthy mission and that is why I turn my car in the direction of Lockheed Martin every single day. I have firsthand knowledge of what happens when systems do not work. I have seen its tragic results. When I see the hard work of my colleagues at Lockheed Martin, I know that my brothers and sisters in the armed forces are in good hands.
I am appreciative to Lockheed Martin for the platform it has given me to support local and statewide veterans and Gold Star Families. Even though I was recognized by Florida’s Governor Scott with his Veteran Service Award and with the Orlando Business Journal’s Veteran of Influence Award, it was Lockheed Martin that provided me the opportunity to continue to serve.
Do you want to ensure our warfighters are in good hands? If so, a career at Lockheed Martin might be for you.
