Armed Forces Bowl

The 2024 Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl will be held on Friday, Dec. 27 at TCU’s Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas.

Approximately one in five of Lockheed Martin’s U.S. employee population are active-duty military members or veterans. We understand the significant contributions and sacrifices the men and women of our armed forces make to ensure global and national security. Sponsoring the Armed Forces Bowl is an important way that Lockheed Martin celebrates patriotism and recognizes the efforts of our armed forces from all six branches of the military.

For the past ten years, Lockheed Martin has been a proud sponsor of the Armed Forces Bowl. We look forward to honoring the military community and their families at this year's #BowlForTheBrave.

Lockheed Martin is also a sponsor of Guide Dogs of America. For over 70 years, Guide Dogs of America has trained puppies to become guide dogs for visually impaired individuals. In 1953, Joseph Jones, then 57 years old, sought the assistance of a guide dog for his own mobility needs. Mr. Jones was declined by many organizations because of his “advanced” age. Jones turned to his union, the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW), for help and they endorsed the founding of International Guiding Dogs. Eventually changing its name to Guide Dogs of America, the organization adopted a no-upper age limit policy. In 2020, after merging with Tender Loving Canines, Guide Dogs of America expanded its services to children with autism and veterans.
